The Edson Literacy Program thanks EnCana for its donation to help start our mobile "techno-literacy lab". With this generous donation we have purchased four laptop computers. We will be able to bring free computer workshops to surrounding communities and to the seniors at Parkland Lodge.
Technology use is an essential skill in Canada. Imagine not knowing how to search the internet; email friends and family; use word processing to write a letter; scan and save pictures. Without EnCana's support we would not be able to offer this service. Thank you, EnCana, for making these opportunities possible.

Edson and District Community Learning Society/Literacy Programs, wish to thank EnCana and Pure Energy Services Ltd. for their recent donations to our programs. These corporate sponsors helped us bring the Classroom on Wheels (C.O.W.) bus to our area on Oct 14th through to the 16th. Additionally, with this funding, we will be hosting Family Literacy Fun nights at the FCSS Family Centre, Wednesdays, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, Nov 5 & 19 and Dec 3 & 17. We invite families to come and join us to find out more about our literacy programs while having fun, snacks and refreshments.
