Hydrogen Sulphide Safety - (H2S) Alive

This one-day course is for all workers who may be exposed to environments where hydrogen sulphide (H2S) is present. The course covers the physical properties and health hazards of H2S, how to protect oneself, and basic rescue techniques. A three - year certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course. Max: 20

PST (Petroleum Safety Training)

This program includes a WHMIS certificate as well as specialized lessons in four sectors of the oil industry. The course introduces learners to the safety procedures and safety hazards they will encounter. This is designed for all workers in the petroleum industry. PST meets all of the requirements for the IRP 16-Basic Industry Safety Orientation.
Registrants are also encourage to take Construction Safety Training Modules.

Ground Disturbance Level 2

This is a 6.5 hour program. The first two hours will review level 1. Level 2 is designed for anyone who is supervising a ground disturbance, independently performing a ground disturbance, or issuing and receiving ground disturbance permits. This program will ensure that Level 2 personal are familiar with and fully understand all regulations and variances involved when a ground disturbance takes place. The Level 2 program is the standardized program recognized by industry regulations. A three-year certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course.
